nature studies

The beautiful work of artist Fiona Watson.

I have been thinking about keeping a nature diary with Ari.
Documenting the seasons and the bits and bobs we collect
on our many trips around the countryside, beach and city.

Fiona's photographs are a beautiful source of inspiration
for such a project. It would be fun to create such
works with children, don't you think?

  2. Thanks Natalie! Did you follow the links to Fiona's site? I think you'd really like the rest of her work too. These images are some of her support works, I believe.

Actually, I've been thinking they might be great inspiration for a regular series of posts of 'nature studies'. Perhaps you'd like to play along? It would be really interesting, if a few of us posted bits and pieces we've collected on walks around the world, don't you think?

I'd love to see what we all came up with :)
